I feel like I’m caught up in a whirlwind or could it simply be a tidal wave . Having everything fall apart but also come together like a masterpiece at the same exact time .
Losing my uncle due to health reasons & also the empathy I feel knowing that my neighbors lost their grandson on the same exact day due to gun violence . I feel like the world is on my shoulders but the torch has apparently been passed to me therefore it is my civic duty to BE THE CHANGE .
I’m from a very small town . A town that you can drive through & still find plantations … Our children are suffering . All they want to do is create & release . But with society’s pressures they are so easily misguided .
I met with Charlamagne Tha God , someone I would consider a mentor . Being that he experienced the same adversities I admire that he always gives back to the community from 843 to 803 to 864 & he’s always so humble . I definitely encourage you to follow his movement . He’s making major moves & creating his own lane .
I also had the opportunity to express my concerns with Mayor Steve Benjamin & he listened with open ears .
The campaign rally was to ensure we elect Jaime Harrison for US Senate . We must all stick together to ensure that our voices , our struggles & our legacy does not get erased .
